*Production Completed: On the new Phineas Poon's website at... http://www.phineaspoon.com OK, here it is... while the last details of Tyler Eckle's (aka; Phineas Poon) website and DVD, were being wrapped, Tag was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He and his wife Hidegard Sellner fought the valiant fight with Tag passing on in August 2009. There was a wonderful outpouring of support from all over the country, from family, friends and fans. Tag's wake was held September 19th 2009 at both the Red Dog Saloon and the Alaskan Hotel in Juneau Alaska. There was an initial presentation, after which the entire assembly marched down South Franklin to the Red Dog in the style of an old DixieLand funeral. A final musician jam at the Alaskan, followed that Sunday culminating in one of the most memorable assemblies I have ever witnessed... r.i.p. Tagerta. There is no telling how long it will be available, so enjoy the contents while you can. Tag and I had a great time creating it. |

* Production Completed; Jim Hunt has finished back-to-back CDs. Jim Hunt, 'My Life, My Songs'... and 'Songwriter's World'. Jim is a seasoned songwriter/singer after the style of perhaps James Taylor or Jimmy Buffet. Stay tuned to this site to discover where you might procure his wares. |
* Curently producing: The Red Dog Saloon Documentary has shifted gears and morfed into a series of 30 minute productions. These 'mini-docs' incorporate much of the late Tyler Eckles, filmed live at the Red Dog. Click here for the Red Dog Saloon site. Hopefully they will make the work available to you. I myself am producing something of a overview of that event which I will make available here in the near future.. |
* Currently Remastering; The Ron Davies, 'Gold & Silver' CD. Ron's daughters, Desiree and Michelle have inherited Ron's legacy and, determined to not let Ron's music fade, they are taking steps to release some of Ron's, as yet, unattended material. Ron's dauters and I have begun the remastering of an album which Ron and I produced in the 70's at HARC Studios here in Port Orchard, Wa. Remastering of Gold & Silver will begin this fall with the permission of the family. |
